How to Fix ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR in Chrome

• Choose the internet option.
• Change the level of security to medium.
• If the privacy option is available, then change it to medium as well.
• Start Google Chrome again.

Method no 6: Ignore the certificate error
This solution is not highly recommended for removing the ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR. The main reason is because route problem is not solved by this method. It solves only ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR error but the certificate error remains which is not safe method to use. The steps for this method are:
• Go to the Google Chrome properties.
• Search for the target option.
• Then remove the error and ignore the certificate error by clicking on ignore the certificate error.
